Hear O Israel, the Lord our God, He is one Lord.
(Deuteronomy 6:4)
At the end of May, we started a weekly challenge on Philippians 4:8-9 (KJV)…
“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.”
What we were aiming for was, the first week we would apply each challenge listed daily, now we are going to take that challenge and apply each daily challenge, to now a weekly challenge to study each “whatsoever” and integrate things like the truth into our minds and hearts.
This week’s challenge for each week
Week 1: “Whatsoever things are true…”
Week 2: “Whatsoever things are honest…”
Week 3: “Whatsoever things are just…”
Week 4: “Whatsoever things are pure…”
Week 5: “Whatsoever things are lovely…”
Prep Day: “Whatsoever things are of good report…”
Sabbath: “If there be any virtue …”
Week 8: “If there is any praise…”
The above Weekly challenge is going to take us into the next two months of our lives, and I look forward to what you all are getting out of these studies. The goal is to focus on the things the bring truth, honesty, justice, purity, things that are lovely, those of good report and virtue, and may it all bring praise to Yeshua’s Father and our Father. To Yeshua’s God and our God.
Each week we will cover the topic for the week. The first topic is going to be “whatsoever things are true…” This is going to most likely set the tone for the next two months of study, fellowship, and discussion at the table of reason, and I look forward to growing with you all in Yeshua.
Dani the witness.
